Registration Belgian Open 2012 Darts are open!

From Friday 3 till Sunday, 5 August 2012 organizes the Belgium Darts Federation for the 31th time Belgian Open Darts. The community center 'Den Boomgaard', Antwerpsesteenweg 57 at Broechem - Ranst is hosting this event for the 4th time.

Belgian Open is one of the four tournaments that take part in the International Belgium Darts Tour

Registrations can only be done digitally from May 1th 2012 through the website of the Belgian Darts Federation. The digital registration method of the website also gives you the ability to registrate
multiple people at once.

Final Tournament IBDT ranking 3th August 2012

As the regulations prescribe, a final tournament will be held for the first 32 men
and 8 women from the ranking of the IBDT.
The final tournament will be held on Friday, August 3, 2012 in Gemeenschapscentrum 'Den Boomgaard' Antwerpsesteenweg 57, 2520 Ranst (Broechem), which is the same location as the Belgium Open.
The tournament starts at 2pm and will end around 7 pm.
At 8 pm start the Warming-up tournament of Belgium Open 2012.

IBDT 2012  

The first tournament of the IBDT 2012 will not start with Antwerp Open but with Belgium Open.
Wich will be played on 3 till 5th August, 2012 in De Boomgaard, Ranst (Broechem)

Top of Ghent will be held from 19 till 21th October, 2012 in the Flanders Sports Arena in Ghent.

The Sunparks Masters has moved to Sunparks Kempense Meren in Mol. The new Sunparks
Masters tournament will be played from November 16 till 18th Oktober, 2012.

Antwerpen Open 2012 not in the spring

The organization of Antwerp Open has notified us that the 25th will not take place during the weekend
of 28-29 April 2012. Due to the unavailability of the previous location and despite the fact that we now
have tried to provide a suitable and available alternative to find but not here in his geslaag, we were forced
to make this decision. We will now endeavor to give you later this year, still the 25th Antwerp Open to offer. An issue that also needs to be special for us, but certainly for the players and players who participate year after year, and we can take no pleasure in a smaller room or worse.

Ranking IBDT

The ranking of the IBDT is fully adapted.
The first season of the IBDT (2011) has been completed and was a great success for all 4 tournaments,
Antwerp Open, Belgium Open, Top of Ghent and Sunparks Masters.

Sunparks Masters break records with entries

There are over 900 registered players in the singles tournament, last year there were still 765.
In the pairs tournament, the number is much higher compared to last year.
This year there are 601 pairs compared to 470 last year.
Singles 900 (2011): Men: 683 Women: 156, boys: 42), girls: 19
Couples 601 (2011): Men: 321, Women: 80, Mix: 200

The tournament will be played from 25-27th, November 2011.

The Sunparks Masters originates from the former Primus Masters, held in a holiday park since its beginning.

After getting acquainted that the old organisation would no longer hold the tournament, some people found it a shame that this combination of playing darts and having a party would be lost, and searched for an adequate alternative and found it at Center Parcs De Vossemeren in Lommel.

The tournament, that had build up a firm reputation in regards to participants, tournament direction
and atmosphere, will be held over 3 days from Friday till Sunday evening, with on the Saturday the famous and notorious party.

The first edition of Top of Ghent

Top of Ghent will take place from 21-23th October, 2011 in the Flanders Sports Arena in Ghent.
The Sports Arena is easily accessible by car (E40) or public transport.

The Flanders Sports Arena is the location and accommodation of choice for hosting major sporting events.
In the winter, the emphasis is on indoor athletics. In other seasons of the year is it a multifunctional
hall with an emphasis on attracting sports eventsat national, European and world level.

TOP or GHENT played under the auspices of WDF (Cat. 2) and BDO and receive points for the men (Cat. B) and women singles (Cat. C).
For the winners there is also a ticket attached to the Winmau World Masters and Lakeside Play-offs.

The tournament is held over three days from Friday evening till Sunday evening.

Antwerpen Open 2011

The 24th Antwerp Open will take place on Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th April 2011 at the Bloso - center Netepark in Herentals and has a prize fund of 17.500 euro.

The Antwerp Open is part of the International Belgium Darts Tour (IBDT) and is played under the auspicies of the Belgium Darts Association and receives points for the ranking tables of the World Darts Federation (Cat 2) for the ladies and men's Singles and for the invitation table of the British
Darts Organisation for the ladies (Cat B) and men's (Cat A) Singles. There are also point for the IBDT ranking, of which the first 32 men and first 8 ladies qualify for a final tournament that will take place
first part of 2012 and has a prize fund of 10.000 euro.

The winners of the singles events receive a place at the Winmau World Masters. The winners of the ladies and men's singles receives also a place at the qualifying tournament for the Lakeside World Professional Darts Championships. Players at the singles event must be eligible to participate at
those tournaments.
